Ancient Memory

Description

As ancient as this long forgotten treasure may be, a distant memory remained of this old homestead in the back of my father's mind. As we came up to the woods I knew this was going to be quite the adventure. Battling thorns and brush with only a tripod and DSLR in my hand, we struggled our way onto the cabin. Finally, in the midst of the trees, our eyes came upon this hidden treasure. There it was, standing, but overcome by the elements. It was an absolute honor to be the only photographer to ever photograph this cabin, and to even be able to see such a beautiful piece of ancient architecture.

Very good photo love it except it needs more line work. The lines seem to be almost random. A person's eye will wounder very quickly well looking at this (subconsciously) trying to find a main object. When shooting photos of buildings (in my personal opinion) a clear vanishing point should be stated. I like this one but it isn't as noticeable as I prefer. I assume that by the name you where meaning this to be a little darker tone almost. Like a memory long forgotten that is just barely hanging onto what is left of it's self. If that is what you where going for I would have recommended to not have gone so vibrate on the green. It draws the eye away from the building. These are just my opinions I am not a professional just a student. I do love this photo though. Have a great day my friend
